The Work Table 002 by Miguel de la Garza was designed as a workspace for up to six people to use at the same time. Using Grade A pine lumber, the table was designed with standard lumber dimensions for the goal of reducing build costs.
Eight sockets rest in a black channel that runs in the center of the 6 ft. by 8 ft. table for people to plug their gear into, because functionality was at the forefront of de la Garza’s mind.
A second layer is built underneath the tabletop for storage and to help minimize the clutter on the work surface. Hide your books or laptop while still keeping them well within reach.
